Making this possible is no easy task. The process of design is a collaborative journey into the unknown. By definition it is uncomfortable. Content, priorities, contexts, and constraints are constantly evolving. We utilize an ever-changing collection of strategies, methodologies, and tools in an effort to find more effective means to name and tame our tasks. Entire organizations and disciplines emerge, diverge and merge as we attempt to organize ourselves more effectively.

I am a confident and seasoned traveler who knows how to proceed when the way is unclear. I listen empathetically to my travel companions, seeking to understand their needs and desires so that together we can name our destination and successfully find our way.

I lead with curiosity by actively seeking out information and digging into details needed to make effective decisions. I guide and mentor others by creating the context and structure people need to do their work successfully instead of prescribing solutions.
